Strawberry Cream Pie

Ingredients:

Graham Cracker Crust:

1 1/4 Cup Graham Crackers (This equals one package of crackers)
1/4 Cup Sugar
6 Tbl. Butter, melted

Glaze:

1 Cup Strawberries, mashed
1 Cup Sugar
3 Tbs Cornstarch
1/2 Cup Water

Cream Filling:

8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 Cup Heavy Cream, whipped
Strawberries, sliced in half

Instructions:

1. For the crust, combine the graham crackers, sugar and butter and press into a 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 375 degrees for 5-8 minutes, or until edges are brown. Set aside to cool. //2 For the glaze, mash the 1 Cup of strawberries. Combine the sugar and cornstarch into a saucepan; add the strawberries and water. Heat until boiling over medium heat. Stir consistently until glaze is clear and thickened. Set aside to cool. //3 The cream filling: Blend the cream cheese and sugar. Fold in the whipped cream. Spread evenly in the cooled crust. Place the sliced strawberries over the filling, pressing lightly into the filling. Spoon the glaze over the berries and chill for 3 hours!
