This salad has a tangy-ness & a crunchy-ness tossed with crumbled bacon that just combines perfectly! I seem to simply steam broccoli way to often, so I have been searching for other wonderful ways to incoroporate broccoli into dishes instead of just boring steamed broccoli on the side…. this one is definately a winner! & as a bonus, homeamde dressing is always the healthier option, & this one is goooood!
1 head of broccoli, chopped
4 Strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 Tbl of mixed nuts (almond slices and pecans)
1/4 Cup of Raisans
1/2 Cup of shredded or cubed Cheddar Cheese
1/2 Cup of Mayonnaise
2 Tbl Balsamic Vinegar
1/4 Cup Sugar
1. In a bowl mix the dressing ingredients and set aside. //2 In a large bowl, toss together the broccoli, bacon (I baked mine in the oven for 12 minutes-so easy!), nuts, raisins and cheese. Pour the dressing over the top and chill in the fridge for about 2 hours before serving. Super easy!!!
